9th Annual Playhouse Summer Raffle

Brackett Farmhouse

Since 2001, Cape Associates of Eastham has continued a charitable initiative that has benefited various individual charitable efforts for our Community. Each year Cape Associates designs and builds beautifully and creative playhouses, which represent structures that are significant to Eastham and the Lower Cape.

Each year a different Charity is chosen to benefit from the raffle proceeds. The Charity receives 100% of the raffle receipts. This Summer, the Cape Cod Hospital Auxiliary will be selling the raffle tickets at various locations and events throughtout the Summer. The proceeds will be going directly to the Cape Cod Hospital Cardiac Unit.

The playhouse is uniquitely designed and professionally constructed and would be a special amenity to any child's backyard. The design this year is The Brackett Farmhouse.

The Cape Cod Hospital Auxiliary also wished to convey that should the winner not have a special place for the playhouse, then it would be a wonderful donation from the winner for the Children's Place in Eastham.

The drawing was held on Sunday, September 13th and the winner was Susan Shealy. The Raffle was a tremendous success this year with a record of over $12,200 raised by the Auxiliary for the Cape Cod Hospital Cardiac Unit.

The Cape Cod Hospital Auxiliary wishes to thank all those who participated in this successful raffle event.

A Special thank you goes to Cape Associates, Inc., for their continued support and investment in this annual endeavor and for all their consistent support that they give to our Community throughout the Years. Cape Associates should be recognized as a Good Citizen in our Community.

Although this year's raffle is over, the Cape Cod Hospital Auxiliary is a worthwhile charitable activity that supports our true life line to all of our health. If you would wish to make a donation or wish to actively take part in the Auxiliary, please contact, Sue Silver at 255-5436 or Barbara Tamens at 255-6026.
